Yer barn doors are open!

They weigh a ton, but they're up, and they work!

My good friends at The Judson Studios are making windows for the doors
out of some really cool "antique" glass.

  1. Hi Gary,
What a great job you did on your home. I especially love the large windows, and barn doors. I always wanted to build my own home, there has to be a good feeling of accomplishment. You made good use of your views with the placement of your windows. The creek and scenery and rare snow is so nice. I wish you much joy in your new home. Thanks for sharing. Love Allaire

    Gary,
    Great setting, beautiful vistas!!
Are you going to set up a lemonade stand for you "visitors" from the south? (just kidding)

  2. Very nice my brotha...are you planning to frost the windows on the inside to keep prying eyes from seeing all your _itchin power tools/equipment?

    1. No frosting on the inner glass. I just put regular window glass there, but I just added a photo of the glass the Judsons are using to make the leaded panels that will be on the outside. Not sure why I'm double-glazing the doors - just because I can, I guess.
