Well, we pushed the ground around a bit getting a level pad, but I choose to consider today, Tuesday September 22, 2015, the day we actually broke ground in Campo.
Today the concrete crew dug the form trenches for the house. The guy driving the excavator is actually my next door neighbor Josiah. Just worked out that way.

Great progress at last my old friend. Your site looks higher than I imagined, what's the view like? J
ReplyDeleteI can see no houses in any direction. A bit of an old fence off in the distance - you can just make out a tiny bit of it in the top picture, but other than that, nothing but oak trees and hills.
ReplyDeleteThese shots are taken from the back of the house looking out the front. So when we sit on the front porch, we'll be looking at that hill. (Ok... ignore the power lines...)
